Blonde hair, legs a mile long and a permanent grin: these are the characteristics that made Heidi Klum a superstar. Despite her millions, Klum is repeatedly the target of ridicule on the internet because of her voice, of all things. The GNTM icon has clear words for this.

Heidi Klum rose to worldwide fame in the 90s as a vivacious supermodel and also became a TV icon on US television. In Germany, she has been delivering one of ProSieben’s most successful shows for an incredible 20 years with Germany’s Next Topmodel. Heidi Klum (51) is doing great business: In the USA, she is considered an absolute icon and, until recently, earned millions as a judge on America’s Got Talent. “annoying for many people”: Heidi Klum knows exactly how she sounds

Heidi Klum knows full well that TV audiences find her voice takes some getting used to. In an interview with the Australian radio show Fitzy and Wippa, she openly talks about how her unique sound has often drawn criticism from haters: “People make fun of my voice because I have a very high, shrill voice.” She herself knows that this can be “annoying for many people”.

Klum suggests that she has always been bullied for her voice. However, the attacks have not proven to be a disadvantage for the model, because she quickly recognized the high recognition value: “I have a very distinctive voice. […] I just have to say one sentence and people are like, ‘Oh yes, that’s Heidi’.” Heidi Klum shows how little she cares about the opinions of her haters on TV: here she sings live at the piano with her husband Tom Kaulitz (35) despite some off-key notes:
