His son should learn to control his temper and take responsibility. But when the Apaches’ hunt fails to produce any buffalo, hard times are ahead. But one night he captures the orphan boy Tom Silver (Milo Haaf) because he approaches the horses. A fateful encounter, because Tom claims to be able to lead Winnetou to the missing buffaloes. The two set off on a journey that Winnetou hopes will finally gain his father’s respect.

The unlikely duo from completely different worlds soon discover that the criminal Todd Crow (Anatole Taubman) is involved in the disappearance of the buffalo. On their adventure in the desert, the two are supported by Winnetou’s sister Nscho-Tschi (Lola Linnéa Padotzke). Nothing less than the rescue of the Apache people is at stake.
