After Ever Happy: Conclusion of the “After” series with Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin
The “After” film series comes to a close. After Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa (Josephine Langford) met in “After Passion” and their complicated love story continued in “After Truth” and “After Love”, “After Forever” brings the turbulent story to a close.
Things get hot between Tessa and Hardin in the first teaser trailer:
“After Forever” – plot
Many unwelcome secrets revealed, Tessa and Hardin are finally in the know about their own past. While Tessa has to deal with Hardin’s troubled family history, she also has to overcome a personal tragedy. Hardin, on the other hand, has difficulty letting go of the past.
They both see that they have changed since they met. He needs her more than ever and she must decide if she is willing to take on his burdens to give their love one last chance.
“After Forever” – background, cast, theatrical release
Back in 2013, author Anna Todd put Tessa and Hardin’s story to paper, initially publishing the story as “One Direction” fan fiction – Harry Styles was the template for Hardin – and a year later the young-adult romance appeared in bookstores with four novels. “After Forever” marks the conclusion of the series.
In 2019, the film adaptation of “After Passion” was released in cinemas, followed just a year later by “After Truth”. Since September 2020, fans have been certain that the four novels will all be adapted for the big screen.
While “After Love” was released in 2021 only one year after “After Truth”, the theatrical release date for “After Forever” is 25 August 2022. The film has already been shot and post-production is underway. Only the ongoing Corona pandemic could still be a wobble factor.
The two main actors Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford once again lead the cast. Castille Landon takes the director’s chair, “After Love” and “After Forever” were shot in one go.
