Ahead of its premiere on September 28, the upcoming second season of the Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has received a brand new trailer.
The video shows off the team as it makes its way to Epic, a hockey institute run by a hardcore former player. Judging by the hard hits and tough environment they find themselves in, this looks to be one of the biggest challenges the Ducks have ever faced.

Following a successful first season that premiered last year, the team is ready to return to the ice, with the second season focusing on the team as they take to the road and participate in a hockey institute run by a former NHL player.
“After winning back the Mighty Ducks team name last year, our squad-with-heart and their coach Alex Morrow (Lauren Graham) take to the road to attend an intense summer hockey institute in California run by charming yet hardcore former NHL player, Colin Cole (Josh Duhamel),” reads the official synopsis for the second season. “It’s a place for kids to get excellent at hockey — without school to get in the way. As our Ducks try to survive in this super-competitive environment, they’re faced with the question: Can you win summer?”
Based on the 1992 sports comedy-drama film, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers stars Brady Noon, Lauren Graham, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham, Julee Cerda, and De’Jon Watts.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is created and executive produced by Josh Goldsmith, Cathy Yuspa, and Steve Brill, who is the original writer of the first film and the executive producer on all three films.
