“Bibi & Tina – Simply Different” – Cast, background, cinema release
With the four-part film series “Bibi & Tina”, director Detlev Buck celebrated great cinema successes in the years 2014-2017. The title heroines were embodied by Lina Larissa Stahl and Lisa-Marie Koroll at the time. In the new “Bibi & Tina” film, however, the cast changes.
Instead of Koroll and Stahl, Katharina Hirschberg is now in front of the camera as Bibi Blocksberg and Harriet Herbig-Matten as Tina Martin. The two were already in front of the camera as leading actresses for the Amazon original series “Bibi & Tina” (2020).
One personnel has not changed in all this time: Detlev Buck is once again behind the camera as director, who will bring the now fifth film about the two friends to German cinemas on 21 July 2022. The FSK approved the new film for ages 0 and up. The catchy title: “Bibi & Tina – Einfach Anders”.
Filming took place in Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt. Comedian Kurt Krömer (“LOL: Last One Laughing”), Holger Stockhaus (“Catweazle”) and Frederick Lau and Kida Khodr Ramadan (both “4 Blocks”) can also be seen in small supporting roles in front of the camera. Small and big “Bibi & Tina” fans can also look forward to new music by the duo.
