As always towards the end of the month, Disney has announced which movies and series will be launching on Disney+ next month, in this case October 2022 – and you can tell Halloween is slowly approaching. Below you’ll find a list sorted by release date, but before that we’re highlighting some series and movie picks for you.
THE GRAND FINALE OF “THE WALKING DEAD “
After 11 seasons, “The Walking Dead” has come to an end. To make the farewell not quite so hard, not only have a whole bunch of spin-offs already been confirmed, the final season has also been split into three parts (A, B, C). The last eight episodes of the successful, but also not uncontroversial zombie series will be released on Disney+ from 3 October. All previous seasons can of course also be found on the streaming service.
“AMERICAN HORROR STORIES”: HORROR REIGNS AGAIN IN SEASON 2
As I said, Halloween is just around the corner. And, of course, one name can’t be missing in this case for years: Ryan Murphy. The creator of “American Horror Story” has already given us many hours of horror and terror in the past – and offers us a spin-off of the popular main series with “American Horror Stories”. The second season will be streamable exclusively on Disney+ from 12 October. Unlike “American Horror Story”, not every season tells a self-contained story, but every episode!
SPIDER-MAN SWINGS THROUGH THE AIR
Before “Spider-Man: No Way Home” ends up in the Disney Plus subscription at some point in the future, the predecessor ” Spider-Man: Far From Home ” will be released on October 14th . In it, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) faces Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). The friendly neighbourhood spider not only swings through the high-rise canyons of New York City, but also ensures a lot of action in Europe – including Venice, Prague, London and last but not least Berlin.
