Happy Family 2: Sequel to the animated comedy about the monstrous family who have a new adventure.

Film plot and background

Continuation of the animated comedy about the monstrous family that goes on a new adventure.

In 2017, we saw the first big screen adventure of the “Happy Family” on the big screen. Now Max, Fee and parents Frank and Emma are sent on a new adventure.

“Happy Family 2” – plot

One year after the Wünschmann family experienced their first adventure as monsters, the second prank follows. Son-man Max experiments with the witch amulet that once turned his sister Fee and his parents Frank and Emma into a werewolf, the mummy, a vampiress and Frankenstein’s monster. But before he can find out much, he is admonished by his parents: the wedding of witch Baba Yaga and Renfield (Oliver Kalkofe) is coming up.

After some arguments and discussions on the way there, however, a big surprise awaits them at the church. The mini-agent Mila Star has it in for Baba Yaga, captures the witch and her husband Renfield, while the Wünschmanns watch helplessly. Max cannot let this stand and casts the wishing formula that will turn him into a werewolf again. Instead of transforming alone, however, the curse once again weighs on the entire family. Together they have to rescue Baba Yaga and Renfield from the clutches of the mysterious girl Mila and her villainous parents Marly and Maddox Star (Joko Winterscheidt). In the process, they are not only taken around the globe once and meet new monsters, but learn the lesson that no one is really perfect.
