Film plot and background
Mammoth project by James Cameron in every respect about a young marine who has to decide whose side he is on in a war of the worlds.
In search of new resources, humans in the 22nd century come across the planet Pandora, which is populated by the Na’vi, three-metre tall creatures with blue skin. Since humans cannot breathe on the planet, avatars are used: substitute creatures in Na’vi form that are controlled by their owners. Paraplegic marine Jake Sully is chosen for the programme. He meets and falls in love with the Na’vi Neytiri and finds himself caught in the crossfire of a war between humans and Na’vi defending their planet.
