The first Violent Night trailer for the David Harbour-led holiday thriller film has dropped. It shows Harbour’s more rough-and-tumble take on Santa.
“When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus (David Harbour, Black Widow, Stranger Things series) is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint,” reads the film’s synopsis.

Violent Night is set to release on December 2. It is written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller and directed by Tommy Wirkola. It stars David Harbour, John Leguizamo, Beverly D’Angelo, Cam Gigandet, and Brendan Fletcher.
