“See How They Run” – background, cast, theatrical release
With “See How They Run” Searchlight Pictures presents the thrilling cinema debut of BAFTA winner Tom George (“This Country”). He has succeeded in attracting a top-class cast for his sophisticated crime thriller. Oscar winner and BAFTA winner Sam Rockwell (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”) plays the role of a troubled Scotland Yard detective as Inspector Stoppard. Stoppard is a cynic, alcoholic and sexist who believes he has seen it all. But in his joint case with overzealous young police officer Constable Stalker, played by Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan (“Little Women”), the hardened inspector learns how to become a better person and a better detective. Oscar winner Adrien Brody (“The Pianist”) plays the role of Hollywood film director Leo Kopernick, who makes no friends with his arrogant manner and lack of respect for the London theatre world.
“See How They Run” will be released in German cinemas on 27 October 2022.
