Netflix has revealed the full trailer for All Quiet on the Western Front, the epic war drama which will be available for streaming on October 28. Currently, the film is now premiering in select theaters.
The video highlights the harrowing transformation of a group of young German soldiers as the horrifying reality of war changes them forever. It gives us a preview of the challenges they’ll face on the battlefield while trying their best to survive for the sake of their fallen comrades.
All Quiet on the Western Front is written and directed by Edward Berger. The film stars Albrecht Schuch as Stanislaus Katczinsky, Aaron Hilmer as Paul’s mentor, Moritz Klaus, Edin Hasanovic, Adrian Grünewald, Thibault de Montalembert, Devid Striesow, and Daniel Brühl.
“The film tells the gripping story of a young German soldier on the Western Front of World War I,” reads the synopsis. “Paul and his comrades experience firsthand how the initial euphoria of war turns into desperation and fear as they fight for their lives and each other in the trenches.”
