It was already clear that the third season of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” would run on Disney+ from February 2023. Now the exact start date has also been leaked. The reunion with Din Djarin and Baby Yoda is within reach!

The first season of the critically acclaimed series “Star Wars: Andor” will soon be over, but Disney+ is already providing more. The third season of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” is already in the starting blocks and we have already seen a trailer for the new episodes. Now the start date of season three has been leaked:

According to the so far very reliable insider Jason Ward from Making Star Wars, the third season of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” will start on 22 February 2023 on Disney+ – in less than four months! However, Disney itself has not yet commented on this leak.

THIS IS WHAT SEASON 3 OF “THE MANDALORIAN” IS ABOUT ON DISNEYPLUS

In the “Mandalorian” spin-off “The Book of Boba Fett”, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) was reunited with his cuddly companion Grogu and it was teased what might happen next for the two. In addition, the first trailer for the third season (which we already saw at the Star Wars Celebration in May 2022) also revealed a lot about the upcoming adventures.

Din Djarin, having removed his helmet, must wash himself clean in the Living Waters beneath the mines of Mandalore if he is to rejoin the clan. So the journey for him and Grogu will definitely be to Mandalore, where the two will meet Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), who needs the dark sword to rebuild the country. However, she needs to capture the weapon in a fight – so although the two have fought side by side before, conflict is likely to be inevitable.
