A24 and Apple Original Films have dropped the first teaser trailer for Sharper, the upcoming comedy thriller centering around a con artist operating in a world of billionaires and one-percenters. The film is slated to arrive in select theaters on February 10, 2023, followed by its Apple TV+ debut on February 17, 2023.
“The film unfolds within the secrets of New York City, from the penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens,” reads the synopsis. “Motivations are suspect, and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.”
Sharper is directed by Benjamin Caron from a screenplay written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. The film stars Julianne Moore (Still Alice), Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya), Justice Smith (All the Bright Places), Briana Middleton (The Tender Bar), Darren Goldstein (Ozark), and John Lithgow (Terms of Endearment).
Sharper is produced by Jessica Switch and Erik Feig of Picturestart along with Moore, Gatewood, Tanaka, and Bart Freundlich, with Julia Hammer and Amy Herman serving as executive producers.
