A24 has dropped the official Past Lives trailer for the forthcoming romantic drama centering around childhood friends who get the chance to reconnect after two decades. The film had its world premiere in January at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and is scheduled to arrive in theaters this summer.
The video begins with Greta Lee’s Nora, as she talks with her husband about her childhood friend from Korea named Hae Sung, who’s coming to America to meet her. It highlights the two friends’ decades-long connection with each other as they reflect on what could have been if Nora didn’t leave.
