The first The Bear Season 2 teaser trailer for the upcoming return of FX and Hulu‘s acclaimed dramedy has been revealed. It features a glimpse of The Beef’s transformation into becoming the titular restaurant. The series is scheduled to make its return this coming June, after a year since concluding its 8-episode first season.
The video shows Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy and the rest of his kitchen crew as they clear out their former restaurant in preparation for its renovation, which was made possible thanks to the surprise money that Carmy’s older brother had left him.

“The series follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (White), a young chef from the fine dining world, who comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop – The Original Beef of Chicagoland – after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he’s used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother’s suicide,” reads the synopsis.
“The Bear is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of sense of urgency, and the steep slippery downsides. As Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.”
For his emotional leading performance in Season 1, White earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. The show was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
