The official Robots trailer for the upcoming sci-fi romantic comedy has been revealed, featuring Shailene Woodley and Jack Whitehall in dual roles. The film is slated to premiere on May 19 in theaters and on demand.
The video highlights a world where humans have clone robots of themselves. It features Whitehall’s Charlie and Woodley’s Elaine, who both use their respective robots to do the things they don’t want to do, including dating each other. After their clones unexpectedly fell in love with each other, Charlie and Elaine teamed up together to stop their robots from completely taking over their identities.
