Netflix released the first official look at its upcoming comedy-drama series Survival of the Thickest. The trailer previews the story of a woman attempting to rebuild her life after a breakup.
When does Survival of the Thickest come out?
Survival of the Thickest was created by Michelle Buteau (who stars in the series) and Danielle Sanchez Witzel. It’s based on a memoir of the same name by Buteau. The series is produced by A24, and will premiere on Netflix on July 13, 2023.

Alongside Buteau, other cast members include Tone Bell, Tasha Smith, and Christine Horn. Recurring cast members include Garcelle Beauvais, Anissa Felix, Peppermint, Taylor Selé, Marouane Zotti, and more.
