Vertical Entertainment has released the official Susie Searches trailer for its upcoming mystery comedy. The film features Kiersey Clemons as a failing true-crime podcaster who becomes popular after solving a local missing persons case.
The video teases how everything are not what it seems to be regarding Clemons’ Susie. In a twist, she may have something to do with the kidnapping of campus heart-throb Jesse. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 28.

Susie (Clemons), an awkward college student with a failing true-crime podcast, seizes the opportunity to boost her campus and online popularity by solving the mysterious disappearance of Jesse (Wolff), a campus heart-throb. With her star on the rise, events take a dark turn as Susie digs out the truth and soon finds herself in over her head.”
Susie Searches is directed by Sophie Kargman from a screenplay written by William Day Frank, based on a story by Kargman. The film stars Kiersey Clemons, Alex Wolff, Jim Gaffigann, Ken Marino, Rachel Sennott, Isaac Powell, Alex Moffat, David Walton, Dolly Wells, Kat Foster, Geoffrey Owens, and Jared Gilman.
