The sci-fi series The Tribute to Panem made Jennifer Lawrence world famous. The star has now spoken out about her readiness to return to The Hunger Games.
Stars who have made it big through a successful youth franchise often subsequently struggle to reboot their acting careers in order to establish themselves as actors:in their own right. This is why Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson ruled out a Harry Potter return and why Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson deliberately pushed their careers in new directions after the end of Twilight. Jennifer Lawrence, on the other hand, would love to return to the series of The Tributes of Panem – The Hunger Games.
Jennifer Lawrence would be in Hunger Games 5 in a heartbeat
Even though Jennifer Lawrence called herself “the worst thing about Hunger Games franchises,” she has fond memories of the four Tribute to Panem films. Asked by Varietyabout her readiness for the Hunger Games return, she responded enthusiastically:
“Oh, my God – I would totally love to! If Katniss ever wants to come back into my life, I’m in, 100 percent!”

The 5th film in the sci-fi series, The Tributes of Panem – The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes opens in theatres on November 16, 2023. The prequel tells the Panem back story 64 years before Katniss. President Snow is young then, named Coriolanus (Tom Blyth), and takes on mentorship over District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Bairns (Rachel Zegler) at the 10th Hunger Games. There is no word on a Jennifer Lawrence involvement in this.
