Disney has dropped a brand-new Haunted Mansion video for its upcoming supernatural comedy, featuring an all-star cast led by Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, LaKeith Stanfield, and more. The behind-the-scenes featurette gives highlight to the live-action movie’s incredibly detailed set, which helped bring the iconic theme park ride to life. It also features commentary by director Justin Simien and the cast as they describe the story as a scary, but fun adventure.
Haunted Mansion is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 28. It will also be debuting in the same month as other high-profile ensemble movies including Barbie, Oppenheimer, and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

What to Expect in the Haunted Mansion Movie?
“Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, Haunted Mansion is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters,” says the logline.
Haunted Mansion is directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People) from a screenplay written by Katie Dippold (Parks and Recreation). The film stars LaKeith Stanfield (Atlanta), Tiffany Haddish (Girls’ Trip), Owen Wilson (Loki), Rosario Dawson (The Mandalorian), and Danny DeVito (Batman Returns), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween movies), and Jared Leto (Morbius).
Th movie is being produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich (Aladdin) of Rideback, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman as executive producers. The titular theme park was first adapted into the 2003 film which starred Eddie Murphy as a workaholic realtor who, along with his family, gets trapped inside a mansion inhabited by ghosts.
