No Hard Feelings: Comedy starring Jennifer Lawrence as a young woman in money trouble who accepts an unusual job offer.
Plot and background
Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence) flirts her way through life, she is young, wild, unselfconscious and in serious money trouble. In addition to her work as a waitress, she works as an Uber driver, but when her car is towed away from under her nose, the young woman is finally in a tight spot. Without the extra income, she is in danger of losing the house she grew up in and still lives in. This makes Maddie all the more hopeful about an unusual job advertisement in the local magazine. Overprotective, rich helicopter parents want to get their spoilt son Percy (Andrew Feldman) off the hook before he goes to college and are looking for a girlfriend for him. Maddie hopes for an easy game, but to her great surprise she has to realise that the introverted animal-loving teenager cannot be wrapped around her finger as quickly as she suspects.
In the interview, Jennifer Lawrence tells us about the worst pick-up lines:
Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence returns to the big screen as a leading actress and producer with “No Hard Feelings”. Lawrence most recently starred in the drama “Causeway”, where she also worked behind the camera as a producer for the first time. Director and screenwriter Gene Stupnitsky (“Good Boys – Nix für kleine Jungs”) is bringing “No Hard Feelings”, a comedy that is as cheeky as it is provocative, to German cinemas on 22 June 2023.
