The trailer for Special Ops: Lioness highlights Zoe Saldaña’s starring role in Taylor Sheridan‘s upcoming Paramount+ series, which debuts July 23.
Per the official synopsis, Special Ops: Lioness is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira) as “a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.” Saldaña plays Joe, “the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing, and leading her female undercover operatives.”

Sherdian’s latest show is star-studded, as it features the likes of Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly, and Morgan Freeman in significant supporting roles.
