Previous teaser trailers for the Norman Reedus spin-off have focused on the titular character seemingly being held captive by nuns, but a new clip offers a more atmospheric glimpse of what to expect when Reedus reprises his popular role.

What to Know About Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon Spin-off
“Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why,” according to the logline for the show. “The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
Along with Reedus, the spin-off’s cast includes Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, and newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. It’s also been confirmed that original Walking Dead star Melissa McBride will appear as Carol Peletier.
David Zabel will serve as showrunner and executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Producers on the series include Reedus, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, and Daniel Percival.
