First trailer for “Loki” season 2: Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson.

Finally there is a first trailer for the second season of the MCU series “Loki” and with it also a reunion with our favourite anti-hero. This time the God of Lies has to deal with a gigantic Miss Minutes, among other things…

It’s been a long wait, but now the second season of the popular MCU hit series “Loki” is within reach. As early as 6 October 2023, Tom Hiddleston will once again be seen as Marvel’s God of Deceit exclusively on Disney+. Loki’s story is far from over: Our favourite anti-hero is still in the custody of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and its case officer Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), who is trying to bring some order to the Loki time chaos.

Now a first trailer for the second season has been released and it already makes clear that we can expect a lot of crazy shenanigans with space and time in the new episodes. The biggest problem of the former super-villain: Apparently something pulls him involuntarily across time. The result: a distorted Loki who is repeatedly transported to new, alien places and has to face new challenges in both the past and the present. What looks quite exhausting could be great fun for us viewers.

The trailer already shows some exciting settings to explore. For example, Loki and Mobius appear to be at a historic world’s fair. In addition, a giant Miss Minute causes quite a bit of chaos. We are definitely curious to see how the likeable, villainous god will do in the new season.

“LOKI” – WHAT ABOUT JONATHAN MAJORS?

The second season “Loki” has been shooting for a while now. What will happen next in the series with Kang actor Jonathan Majors was a big question mark for a long time. He is accused of violence and abuse and the trial is still ongoing. The actor is an important part of the series and the first season ended with a gigantic Kang cliffhanger that fans will surely want to see resolved. You can read more about the case against Majors here:

In the trailer, Majors can now already be made out: The actor’s face can be seen on a mural and at the end we can also catch a glimpse of Victor Timely – a variant of Nathaniel Richards aka He Who Remains (in the German version: Jener Der Bleibt). And the remains of the citadel at the end of time can already be seen in the trailer.

It remains exciting to see how and to what extent Disney has incorporated Jonathan Mayors into the second season of “Loki”, because that will probably also reveal a lot about the further handling of the artist in the MCU.
