The supernatural psychological horror film Haunting of The Queen Mary has received a new trailer and a release date.
The film stars Men in Black 3’s Alice Eve, Game of Thrones’ Joel Fry, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Nell Hudson. The film tells three interconnected stories aboard the infamous real-life cruise liner The Queen Mary. Those stories are told both in 1938 on Halloween night and in the present day. It’s directed by Irishman Gary Shore, who previously helmed 2014’s Dracula Untold as well as the St. Patrick’s Day segment of the horror anthology Holidays.
Haunting of The Queen Mary Official Trailer
Interestingly, filming actually took place on board The Queen Mary itself. The ship is well known as one of the most haunted places on Earth, so that might have added to the atmosphere when filming. The ship currently sits encased in concrete in Long Beach, California, where it is used as a hotel.
The film will release on August 18 in select theaters and video on demand on the same day.
