New Line Cinema has dropped a teaser trailer for The Nun 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2018’s blockbuster horror thriller film. It features new footage of Valak terrorizing a group of children at a boarding school in France.
The video continues to tease the second showdown between Taissa Farmiga’s Sister Irene and the demonic nun, as the former is terrorized by the past.
Despite the ongoing actors strike, The Nun 2 will move forward with theatrical release on September 8. It will debut in the same month as other high-profile features, including A Haunting in Venice, Expend4bles, and Saw X.
