The trailer for A Day and a Half previews Netflix’s thriller movie, which is directed by Fares Fares, who also stars as a police officer that goes on a tense road trip.

A Day and A Half will premiere on Friday, September 1.
“To reunite with his daughter, Artan (Alexej Manvelov) takes his ex-wife Louise (Alma Pöysti) hostage and embarks on a thrilling and emotion-charged road trip with her and police officer Lukas (Fares Fares),” per an official synopsis. “The journey takes them through rural Sweden during a hot summer, all while having police on their heels.”
The cast also includes Stina Ekblad, Bengt C.W. Carlsson, Annica Liljeblad, Annika Hallin, and Johni Tadi.
Fares wrote the script, with Johan Hedman serving as executive producer and Christina Legkova and Hanna Lundmark as producers.
