FX Networks has dropped the official Welcome to Wrexham trailer, which continues the underdog journey of Welsh football team Wrexham AFC after the club was bought by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2020. The series is scheduled to make its return on September 12 on FX and Hulu.
The video features Reynolds and McElhenney as they discuss the unprecedented attention and high expectations that Wrexham AFC has garnered. This comes after the club lost its bid for a promotion in the Premier League during the first season.

“In 2020, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds teamed up to purchase the team in the hopes of turning the club into an underdog story the whole world could root for,” reads the synopsis. “The worry?
