Netflix unveiled the first spine-chilling teaser trailer for The Fall of the House of Usher, set to premiere on the streaming platform on October 12.
The trailer comes shortly after the release of first-look images teasing what viewers can expect from the series. Who’s Involved in the Fall of the House of Usher?
Director and producer Mike Flanagan is no stranger to working with frequent series collaborators. Apart from Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House) and Bruce Greenwood (Doctor Sleep) playing significant roles in the upcoming series, The Fall of the House of Usher will also star Annabeth Gish (Midnight Mass), Kate Siegel (Midnight Mass), Rahul Kohli (The Haunting of Bly Manor), and Henry Thomas (Gerald’s Game). The rest of the show’s cast includes Marry McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, and Mark Hamill.
It is still unknown whether the show will stay faithful to its source material, but with Flanagan at the helm, the upcoming show will most likely be a thrilling and modernized adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic short story.
The Fall of the House of Usher streams on Netflix on October 12.
