Cult film becomes a Netflix series: Chris Evans & 14 (!) more stars.

Finally there is a real trailer for the series adaptation of the cult comic respectively cult film “Scott Pilgrim against the rest of the world”. Especially cool: The stars of the film also lend their voices to their animated counterparts.

In January 2022, Netflix announced that they are currently working on an anime series adaptation of “Scott Pilgrim vs. the Rest of the World.” However, this was not to be a sequel to the film of the same name by director Edgar Wright (“Shaun Of The Dead”), but an animated re-imagining of the iconic comic book original by Bryan Lee O’Malley.

What’s special about the Netflix series adaptation is that the stars from the film are returning once again for the reinterpretation to once again lend their voices to their characters. After there was already a first announcement teaser for “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” (the official title), in which we could not yet take a look at the series, there is now a real trailer. And in it, we can see that the style of the Netflix series will clearly be based on the comic original.
