The official Dark Asset trailer for Saban Films’ next action thriller has been released, featuring Terminator 2’s Robert Patrick as a scientist who transforms Wu Assassins’ Byron Mann as a super soldier. The film is scheduled to make its debut on September 22 in theaters and on VOD.

What to Expect in Dark Asset?
“In this adrenaline-fueled action film, an ordinary soldier becomes the subject of a top-secret experimental program,” reads the synopsis. “Under the guise of enhancing his combat abilities, the program transforms him into a lethal living weapon. As the John Doe delves deeper into the project, he uncovers the horrifying truth behind the program’s objectives and the dark intentions of his creator. Described as a clever and fast-paced action spy thriller, Dark Asset is written and directed by Michael Winnick. The film stars Mann (Wu Assassins, Altered Carbon) as John, Patrick (The Protégé, Terminator 2) as Dr. Cain, Helena Mattsson (American Horror Story) as Jane, Shani Rigsbee (Guardian Angel) as Agent Wilds, Sabina Gadecki (Fire Country) as Vivian, Paul Savage (Days of Our Lives) as Senator Benson, and more.
