A24 has released a brand new Past Lives video for Celine Song’s acclaimed romantic drama, starring Greta Lee as a woman who gets a chance to reconnect with her childhood friend from Korea. The film is now available for streaming on VOD.
The video features the cast including Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro as they discuss how Song developed the chemistry between their respective characters. It also highlights the different relationship and intimacy that Lee’s Nora has with Yoo’s Hae Sung and Magaro’s Arthur.

Who’s Involved in Past Lives?
Past Lives is written and directed by Celine Song in her feature directorial debut, with David Hinojosa, Christine Vachon, and Pamela Koffler serving as producers. The film stars Greta Lee (Russian Doll) as Nora, Teo Yoo (Leto) as Hae Sung, John Magaro (The Big Short) as Arthur, Choi Won-young (Sky Castle) as Nora’s dad, Jonica T. Gibbs (Twenties) as Janice, Ji Hye Yoon as Nora’s mom, Min Young Ahn as Hae Sung’s mom, and more.
“Nora and Hae Sung, two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. 20 years later, they are reunited for one fateful week as they confront notions of love and destiny,” reads the synopsis.
