Kannawoniwasein!

by Mike

Kannawoniwasein!: German children’s book adaptation by Stefan Westerwelle about two young runaways and an adventurous journey to the sea.

Plot and background

Since the separation of his parents, Finn (Miran Selcuk) commutes back and forth between Berlin and Neustrelitz. On one of those train rides en route to Berlin, bad luck seems to follow him. First the paddling trip with his father (Ekrem Bora) falls through and then he is robbed on the train. Neither the conductor nor the police believe that his backpack and ticket have been stolen, but luckily he meets the adventurous Jola (Lotte Engels) in the middle of his misery, who motivates him to escape and hijacks a rickety tractor. An exciting journey to the sea begins, where a brazen gang of rockers and a lazy police duo are hot on their heels and a series of fist-pumping adventures await the two runaways.

The official trailer promises a thrilling, humorous road movie for the whole family:
