Netflix gives green light to 3rd season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” – fans

The second season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” also managed to become a hit on Netflix this year. The logical consequence? The streaming service has now given the green light to the third season. However, there will also be a change…

The Netflix series “The Lincoln Lawyer,” based on the novel series of the same name by Michael Connelly, turned out to be a real hit for the streaming service when it was released in May 2022. Accordingly, it was quickly announced that the format, developed by David E. Kelley, would be expanded with a second season – and this one could also enjoy great popularity. As has now been announced, “The Lincoln Lawyer” will get a third season!

The Lincoln Lawyer” centers on lawyer Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who runs his law firm from the back seat of his car. After overcoming his opiate addiction triggered by a serious surfing accident, the series keeps him busy taking on tricky Los Angeles cases that ultimately aren’t necessarily about the money, but about justice.

WE ALREADY KNOW THIS ABOUT SEASON 3

It’s not just Manuel Garcia-Rulfo who will be back in Season 3. Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco and Yaya DaCosta as Andrea Freemann will also return in their familiar roles. Fans of the series, on the other hand, will have to say goodbye to Neve Campbell, who will no longer be part of the cast as Maggie McPherson. With her move to another city in the Season 2 finale, this has already been announced, but now her exit is also a done deal.

The third season “The Lincoln Lawayer” will consist of 10 episodes. Whether these, as was the case with season 2, will again be divided into two release blocks, remains to be seen. The upcoming season will be based on the fifth novel in the “Lincoln Lawayer” series, which is titled “Gods of Guilt” in this country.

In it, Mickey is involved in a murder case of a call girl, whom he had already defended in court not so long ago.
