In just a few years, Mike Flanagan has risen to become one of the horror masters who are currently spreading fear and terror with their films (and series!) – and the 45-year-old is currently doing this more consistently and constantly than almost anyone else. His latest project is therefore likely to be one of the most anticipated series: “The Fall of the House of Usher”.

While other works by Edgar Allan Poe are also to be included in the series, “The Fall of the House of Usher” is based primarily on the short story of the same name – which not only bookworms but also movie connoisseurs may already be familiar with. First adapted in 1928 in the form of a French silent film, new adaptations have followed over the years – perhaps most famously Roger Corman’s 1960 film starring Vincent Price.
