The trailer for The Simpsons Season 35 reveals the show’s upcoming episodes, previewing what’s in store for Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and several recurring characters when the Fox comedy returns.
“Feeling worthless at work, Homer volunteers to be a school crossing guard,” per the synopsis for the season’s debut episode. “But when his safety squad receives too much funding, the crossing guards become a force to be feared.”

When Will The Simpsons Season 35 Debut on Fox?
The new season of The Simpsons debuts on Sunday, October 1.
A summary of the upcoming episodes reads: “Marge experiences a series of nightmares about young Bart’s childhood coming to an end; Homer accidentally volunteers for a school crossing guard position; 60 years in the future, Lisa recounts the story of how Homer was scapegoated for a power outage that plunged Springfield into darkness days before Thanksgiving; and the annual chilling trilogy Treehouse of Horror XXXIV is back!”
