The first trailer for Renaissance, a new Beyoncé concert film, has been released.
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is a new concert film showing a behind-the-scenes look at the infamous artist’s Renaissance World Tour, which began in February 2023 before concluding on October 1, 2023.

“Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé accentuates the journey of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri,” the official synopsis reads. “It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”
Beyoncé also posted the trailer to her Instagram account with the caption, “Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.’

When does Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé come out?
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé releases in theaters on December 1, 2023.
On September 30, Variety reported Beyoncé was in final talks to distribute the concert movie directly through AMC Theatres, much like the deal Taylor Swift struck with the company to release her Eras Tour Concert Film. Variety also reported Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is expected to gross approximately $560 million in ticket sales.
According to a report from Above the Line, a Renaissance visual album has also been secretly filmed by Nadia Lee Cohen. Above the Line reported in August 2023 that the visual album had finished filming but was still looking for distribution at the time.
