The official Camp Courage trailer for Netflix‘s upcoming documentary short film has been released. The video highlights the journey of two Ukrainian refugees as they attend a summer camp in the Austrian Alps. They’re joined by other families affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. The documentary is scheduled to make its debut on October 15.
“I’m so incredibly excited to premiere this film at the Camden International Film Festival and to see where it goes from here in revealing the human impact of the Russian war in Ukraine,” director Max Lowe said in an interview with Tudum. “And the resilience and courage of those impacted by its cruelty as they navigate the winding and unknown climb before them.”

Camp Courage is directed by Max Lowe (Torn, Adventure Not War), with Marilyn Ness and Katy Chevigny producing. The documentary short is edited by Andrey Alistratov.
