The trailer for The Burning Girls unveils the Paramount+ thriller led by The Walking Dead alum Samantha Morton and Ruby Stokes (Bridgeton), and follows a village haunted by a dark and turbulent history.
“When a female vicar and 15-year-old daughter move to Chapel Croft in the hope of a fresh start, their new beginning gets off to a bad start as they find the village is rife with conspiracies and secrets,” per the official synopsis.

When Does The Burning Girls Debut?
The Burning Girls premieres on Paramount+ in the U.K. on October 19. There’s no confirmation on a U.S. debut.
Along with Morton and Stokes, the cast includes Conrad Khan (Peaky Blinders), Rupert Graves (Sherlock, Emma), Stranger Things star Elodie Grace Orkin, Janie Dee, David Dawson (The Last Kingdom), Paul Bradley (EastEnders), Jane Lapotaire (The Crown, Marie Curie), Jack Roth (Bohemian Rhapsody), Mollie Holder (Sanditon), Safia Oakley-Green (The Origin, Sherwood), Beth Cordingly (Learning to Walk Again), and John Macmillian (House of Dragon).
Based on C.J. Tudor’s novel, The Burning Girls is adapted by Hans Rosenfeldt (Marcella), with Charles Martin (Skins) and Kieron Hawkes (Ripper Street) directing. Richard Tulk-Hart and Tony Wood executive produce alongside Tudor and Rosenfeldt.
