Disney+ has finally dropped The Santa Clauses Season 2 trailer for the upcoming next installment to the family comedy series. Season 2 will start streaming on November 8 on Disney+.
The video features Tim Allen’s Scott and the rest of the Calvin family as they prepare for Christmas as a family. It highlights Cal’s not-so-smooth training as Scott’s official Santa Clause successor. The trailer also teases the new characters who will be joining the main cast, including Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet as The Mad Santa and Gabriel Iglesias as Kris Kringle.

What to expect in The Santa Clauses Season 2?
The Santa Clauses Season 2 stars Allen as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus, Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol/Mrs. Claus, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, Devin Bright as Noel, Austin Kane as Cal, Matilda Lawler as Betty. It hails from executive producer and showrunner Jack Burditt, who is known for his work on hit shows such as 30 Rock, Modern Family, and Frasier. In addition to starring, Allen is also also executive producing along withKevin Hench, Richard Baker, and Rick Messina.
“In Season 2, The Calvin family is back in the North Pole as Scott continues his role as Santa Claus after retirement plans were thwarted when failing to find a worthy successor in season one,” reads the logline. “Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Calvin to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus.”
