The trailer for Julia Season 2 confirms the release date for the first three episodes, which will premiere on Thursday, November 16 on Max. It will then switch to a weekly release schedule through December 21.
“With her trailblazing cooking show up and running on the air, Julia grapples with her rising celebrity and what that means for her, her colleagues, and her show,” per the official logline.
“In season two, Julia and her devoted husband Paul return from Simca’s home in France to find that her success has changed everything. Through her singular joie de vivre, she and her team must navigate WGBH, the White House, and a threat from their past, while continuing to spearhead female-driven public television and confront social issues still prevalent today.”

Who’s in Julia Season 2?
Returning series regulars include Sarah Lancashire, David Hyde Pierce, Bebe Neuwirth, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz, Fiona Glascott, and Robert Joy. Returning guest stars include Judith Light (Blanche Knopf), Isabella Rossellini (Simone ‘Simca’ Beck), Tosin Morohunfola (Isaac), and Christian Clemenson (James Beard). Rachel Bloom, known for her leading role on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, joins the series as the powerhouse director Elaine Levitch who comes to WGBH from CBS. Stockard Channing (The West Wing) and Craig Bierko (UnREAL) also make appearances.

Chris Keyser serves as showrunner, as well as executive producer alongside creator Daniel Goldfarb. Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment, Kimberly Carver, Donna E.
