In terms of explicit violence, Invincible is definitely in the same league as The Boys. In additionthere are fewer limits to the animated series from the outset:What demands tons of fake blood in the Billy Butcher adventure is limited here only by the imagination and budget of writers and animators.
The first season of the Amazon Prime series ran in March 2021, so ithas been around two and a half years since Grayson’s last bloody adventures. The new season is set to have eight episodes, which will be released on a weekly basis.
