The 5th season of The Rookie has been given a start date on Disney+. You won’t have to wait long for the new episodes of the police series starring Nathan Fillion
The Rookie has been conquering the US television program since 2018. The police series starring Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) has now also found a large German audience. It is now clear when the new episodes of season 5 will be coming to Disney+. However, nothing is yet known about a Netflix launch.
In The Rookie, Fillion takes on the role of John Nolan, who works as a building contractor and urgently needs a change of scenery. During a bank robbery, he happens to be able to help the police by starting a diversion. Inspired by this event, he applies to the LAPD in Los Angeles as a law enforcement officer.
When does The Rookie season 5 start on Disney+?
Season 5 of The Rookie will be released on Disney+ on December 13, 2023. A total of 22 new episodes await you.

Aside from Disney+, The Rookie is available to stream on many other streaming services in Germany. You can already watch all five seasons on WOW. Amazon Prime, Netflix and MagentaTV, on the other hand, only offer the first four seasons. These are also available to stream from the ZDF Mediathek.
