After the end of the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe has reinvented himself as an actor several times. Now an important chapter in this journey is coming to an end after four seasons
Most people will probably forever associate Daniel Radcliffe with Harry Potter. However, it cannot be said that he has not tried to establish himself in Hollywood with other roles in recent years. For years, he has been trying out a wide variety of things in the film and series landscape.
From survival thrillers to romcoms, he has even played a farting corpse. One of his wackiest projects is the anthological fantasy comedy series Miracle Workers, which premiered on TBS in 2019. Four years later, the US broadcaster is pulling the plug, as TVLine has learned.
The fantasy series Miracle Workers took Daniel Radcliffe from the Wild West to the apocalypse
In the first season of Miracle Workers, Radcliffe plays an angel called Craig, who is not of high rank and therefore has a thankless job to do: He is responsible for people’s prayers. Unmotivated, he puts off the work, in stark contrast to his colleague Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan).

But then God (Steve Buscemi) appears on the scene and thinks about destroying the whole world. The damage that has already been done is too great. It would be much easier to completely rebuild the globe. Craig and Eliza are shocked and try everything in their power to stop their superior from going ahead with his plan.
Similar to American Horror Story, the cast is retained in subsequent seasons, although the story and characters change. Specifically, in the 2nd season of Miracle Workers we find ourselves in the Middle Ages, while the 3rd season unfolds as a Western. Season 4 ventures into an apocalyptic future.
Unconventional humor and quirky ideas: Miracle Workers has received a lot of love from fans over the course of its four seasons and has also been reviewed very favorably by the press. On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the series has 84 percent positive reviews and an audience score of 81 percent.
