The Walking Dead series The Ones Who Live will not only bring back Rick Grimes and Michonne in 2024. It also includes two characters that most fans have already forgotten about

Last year, the zombie series The Walking Dead came to an end after 11 seasons. However, the stories of numerous characters are being continued with new spin-off series. Negan and Maggie have already returned in Dead City. And the France spin-off Daryl Dixon gives fans a reunion with Norman Reedus’ loner and Carol.

Probably the most anticipated return, however, will be next year in the spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which reunites the characters Rick Grimes and Michonne for an adventure. A new teaser has now revealed that two more characters are making a surprise return

Not just Rick and Michonne: The Walking Dead brings back even more characters

At least five familiar The Walking Dead faces will be seen in the new series The Ones Who Live. In addition to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), Pollyanna McIntosh will also be back as CRM soldier Jadis. They are joined by two forgotten characters: Aiden and Bailey.

Their names will certainly not mean much to most fans. After all, they have only appeared in one scene in the parent series so far: in the 13th episode of season 10.

In the episode Michonne’s Way, Michonne left The Walking Dead early to look for Rick. In her final scene, she encountered two injured strangers who were separated from their group and asked for help.

As the latest teaser for The Ones Who Live reveals, the duo will also be seen in the spin-off series. Hopefully for longer than just 30 seconds this time.

You can watch the teaser for The Walking Dead series The Ones Who Live here:

Aiden is played by Breeda Wool, who series fans will recognize from the Stephen King series Mr. Mercedes or the drama series UnREAL. Her co-star Bailey is played by comedian Andrew Bachelor aka King Bach, who was seen in the Netflix horror The Babysitter and its sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

The Ones Who Live will follow on from the end of Michonne’s farewell episode and the epilogue of The Walking Dead finale. Thanks to the return of Aiden and Bailey, fans will finally get an answer to the question: Which mysterious caravan did Michonne join?

after four years in the spin-off series.
