Navy CIS season 20 on TV: That’s why episode 21 is coming later
Sat.1 broadcasts the episodes of season 20 every Tuesday evening from 8:15 pm as a free TV premiere. Since the TV broadcast of the 20th episode on November 14, however, Navy CIS has been on a short break of two weeks.
Instead of fresh NCIS content, Sat.1 has been showing the new season of the reality show Promi Big Brother at prime time since November 21. Fifteen episodes will be broadcast until December 4. From December 5, it will finally continue as usual with Navy CIS on Tuesdays

The respective repeats of the new episodes start at 00:15 on Wednesday night.
The finale of season 20 brings a sad farewell for NCIS fans. These are the last two episodes in which actor David McCallum, who died in September, can be seen as coroner Ducky. He played the role in over 450 episodes.
When is NCIS season 21 coming?
The good news: US broadcaster CBS has already ordered the 21st season of Navy CIS. However, this time fans will have to wait longer than usual for fresh episodes. Due to the double strike in Hollywood, which has now ended, no series or films could be shot for several months this year.
Instead of starting in September as usual, the new season of NCIS in the USA will not begin until February 12, 2024. Due to the much-delayed start, season 21 will also have significantly fewer episodes.
There are usually three to four months between the US premiere and the German broadcast. The new episodes are therefore not expected to be shown on Sat.1 until summer 2024.
