In the worst case scenario, the postponement could result in an additional six months of waiting time in this country. More bad news about the 20th season of Grey’s Anatomy
After the season 19 cliffhanger of a shocking character death, the long wait for the sequel (and a possible last-second rescue) is especially tough. According to TVLine, the late start also changes the number of episodes of the series, which usually had over 20 episodes per season. In order to return to the old TV broadcasting rhythm, Grey’s Anatomy is expected to be shortened to around 13 episodes.
Following the departure of Meredith star Ellen Pompeo in season 19, Grey’s Anatomy is also reinventing itself in season 20 with a different show runner.
