However, after producer James Cameron (Avatar) promised several sequels, the franchise went quiet again. Now his companion and producer Jon Landau (Titanic) is giving the community hope again
Sci-fi highlight Alita: Battle Angel is definitely to be continued
According to Screen Rant Landau explained:
I’m very proud of the movie. It was on HBO one night and James [Cameron] saw it and called me afterward. He said, “Jon, Alita just came on. It turned out to be a good movie.” And I think so too. I definitely want to do more with this world.
