Amazon produces new The Boys series with Star Wars hero and superstar
As Deadline reports, Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet Alcocer will serve as showrunner on the series. Luna and fellow actor Gael García Bernal (Old) will produce the series and may also be seen in small roles in front of the camera.
As the name already reveals, the new The Boys series will be set in Latin American Mexico. Details about the story are not yet known. It is the third The Boys spin-off after The Boys Presents: Diabolical and Gen V.
When is the new The Boys spin-off coming to Amazon?
There is currently no official start date for the new The Boys series. Given the current state of production, we don’t expect it to be released before mid-2025. Season 4 of the parent series is expected to be released by mid-2024.
