Great Britain has not always been known for its hospitality. In Centurion – Fight or Die, the killer lead actor Michael Fassbender also has to realize this as a Roman soldier who fights off an army of cruel opponents from the Picts tribe. The historical action is available to stream on Netflix
On Netflix: The Killer star Michael Fassbender experiences the guerrilla war against Rome
In the year 117 AD, a tribe of Picts attacks a Roman outpost in what is now Scotland. Only centurion Quintus Dias (Fassbender) survives and shortly afterwards meets fellow soldiers from the ninth legion of the Roman army. Together they seek revenge. And end up in a murderous ambush.

Centurion is not a masterpiece according to many critics, but it will more than satisfy fans of battle scenes and intense violence in particular.
The film by Neil Marshall (The Descent) flopped at the box office and only recouped half of its production budget (via The Numbers ). Alongside Michael Fassbender, Dominic West (300) can also be seen in front of the camera.
